SBI PO 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates are required to meet following eligibility criteria for SBI PO post

Education Qualification:

1) Candidates should have a graduation degree in any of streams such as B.Com, B.Sc, BA, B.Tech from recognized University by Central or State of India

2) Candidate should have a fair knowledge of Computer Operation.

Language Proficiency:

The Candidate should be proficient in writing, reading or speaking the official language of State/UT.

Nationality:

Candidates should be one of the following:

i) Citizen of India

ii) A subject of Nepal or Bhutan

iii) Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam or from East India Countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Zaire, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi with the intention of settling permanently in India.

iv) Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.

Age:

Applicants should be more than 21 years old and less than 30 years old. The age relaxation for different categories as follows:

SC/ST 5 years
OBC (NCL) 3 Years
PWD 10 Years
Ex-Servicemen 5 years

SBI PO 2020 Selection Process

The selection process for SBI PO in three stages. Candidates should clear each stage to reach the next level. The three stages as follows

StageI: SBI PO Prelims

Stage II: SBI PO Mains

StageIII: Personal Interview

Prelims and Mains exam are conducted online where Personal Interview is conducted Face to face interview.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern

The SBI PO Prelims is an objective type test and conducted for the one-hour duration. The exam consists of 3 sections having a total of 100 questions with a maximum of 100 marks. Each wrong answer has a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern

The SBI PO Mains consists of two sections – Objective and Descriptive. Objective Section carries 200 marks and Descriptive section Carries 50 marks. Both of these tests are taken online. The descriptive test will take place right after the completion of an objective test on the same day.

SBI PO 2020 Admit Card

SBI issues separate admit card for each stage of recruitment. Admit card for prelims exam will be issued to candidates who register successfully for the exam. Candidates who clear prelims will get a call letter for SBI PO mains. Again SBI also issues admit cards for Personal Interview to those who will clear the mains exam.
